It provides guidance during challenging family situations, helps reduce stress and burnout, and boosts confidence in your parenting approach. With support, both parents and children can thrive.

  • Frequency is tailored to your goals and needs. Some clients benefit from weekly sessions, while others may start with biweekly or monthly check-ins. Your therapist will work with you to determine a schedule that supports progress while fitting your lifestyle.

  • Yes. Many clients find virtual sessions convenient and effective. We use secure platforms and strategies to ensure therapy is meaningful and supportive, whether online or in person. Virtual sessions also allow for continuity of care if travel or scheduling conflicts arise.

  • There’s no need to prepare anything formal. You can come with questions, goals, or simply an openness to talk about what’s on your mind. Your first session is also a chance to get to know your therapist and explore whether the approach feels like the right fit for you.

  • We regularly review goals, strategies, and improvements together. Progress can include new skills, greater emotional awareness, improved relationships, or feeling more confident navigating life challenges. Tracking progress also helps guide adjustments to your therapy plan to ensure it meets your evolving needs.

  • Teens usually have confidential sessions to feel safe speaking openly. Parents are still involved by receiving updates on progress, guidance for support at home, and opportunities for joint sessions when helpful.

Confidentiality is maintained unless there are safety concerns or legal requirements to report. Parents may also join sessions to work on communication, problem-solving, and family dynamics, balancing teen privacy with positive family support.

  • We offer self-pay options and accept multiple insurance plans. For clients whose insurance we don’t accept, we can provide a superbill for potential reimbursement.

More information about rates, insurance, and payment options can be found on our Rates & Insurance page.
